The feng shui bagua presented at various angles.
Typically the grid is usually portrayed with south at the top, so that you are looking at the room from the entry way. This does not always work well if you are in another portion of the room and are trying to do complex mental calculations to figure out which corner is which.
These illustrations (see links below) allow you to easily orientate your feng shui from wherever you are sitting right now.
To use these feng shui maps, click on the one that shows your position as "you are here"
You may be anywhere, the direction you are looking at your room from is the top of the feng shui map.
Each of these map use the western feng shui school of thought that the main entrance doorway is on the north wall.
(it can be in any of the sectors for purpose of using these charts).
These views are the most commonly used if you are in a square shape room directly looking into it from one of the four primary directions. All images can be used from any of the three sectors where the center of that line is the one shown below. The idea is that you are looking straight into the room.

These charts are created for a very specific reason. To make your feng shui easy. I haven't seen this done before, although it probably has been at some point. These maps allow you to sit at your computer and look around your room without doing complex mental rotations to figure out which corner is where.

Since you are sitting at your computer as you view this site, you can simply select the map that matches your current viewpoint.
The main door position is marked, although this should be mapped to the room you are currently viewing from. Just look where the door is and if that matches the map, you've got the right one.
